Metaenergia has implemented its own Organizational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 regarding corporate responsibility.

The Board of Directors in 2010 approved the Model and its constituent elements required by the law and by the guidelines of the main trade associations. Among these constitutive elements of the Model, particular attention must be paid to the “Code of Ethics“. The Code of Ethics is an official document of the Company and as such was desired and approved by the top management of the company.

Metaenergia, with the adoption of the Code of Ethics, wanted to equip itself with a tool for self-regulation and guidance in all decision-making processes in order to impress ethics in its business. It contains the set of principles with which the Company intends to conform its business and that of the subjects who operate on its behalf and, therefore, has the primary purpose of recommending, promoting or prohibiting certain behaviors that the Company requires are not adopted beyond and regardless of the provisions of the law.
Model 231 is constantly updated in relation to the legislative interventions that have taken place over the years, which have expanded the category of predicate offenses of administrative liability of entities pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01.
